This is great for Holiday drinks or for parties!
1 large jar of Maraschino Cherries WITH stems
1 bottle of Hot Damn Liquor
Drain off all the juice from the cherries. Put it in another jar and keep it in the refrigerator for baking.
Pour Hot Damn Liquor over the cherries to cover. Replace lid and place in refrigerator for a week or more. The longer they sit the better.
Use cherries as a garnish in drinks.
I find most people just eat the cherries alone. Leave them in the jar with the Hot Damn and supply tongs for getting them out of the jar.
