Set oven to 450F

Stir 2 cups Bisquick baking mix and 1/2 cup cold water to a soft dough. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured cloth-covered board; knead 5 times. Roll 1/4" thick.

Spread 2 tbsp. soft butter over half the dough; fold over and spread 2 tbsp. soft butter over half the dough. Fold in half; roll 1/2" thick. Cut with floured 2" cutter. Place 2 biscuits cut sides up in each ungreased muffin cup. Bake about 10 minutes.

8 to 9 biscuits
