1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup chopped celery
10 oz. can chicken noodle soup
10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
8 oz. pkg. salted cashews
2 oz. chow mein noodles

Preheat oven to 350F. Place ground beef in large skillet; fry until pink color no longer shows. Add onion, green pepper, salt, pepper, and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender. Season further, according to taste. Add both cans of soup, water, and mushrooms - stir. Pour into casserole dish. Add cashews and noodles; stir only until last 2 ingredients are distributed through mixture. Bake 40 to 60 minutes, or until casserole is heated through.

Makes 12 - 15 servings.
