What else could be a reason for a missed period besides pregnancy?

i am a month late for my period, but i have taken 4 pregnancy tests, and they all say negative. What else could it be?

Being stressed about something (whether good or bad) can cause the period to be delayed. Also, for some a hormone imbalance can cause a period to miss.The only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
