Rhubarb Squares

Crust:
3 cups flour
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup shortening
1 cup milk

Filling:
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. flour
Rhubarb, cut

Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup margarine

Crust:
Mix ingredients together.
Spread on large baking sheet.

Filling:
Mix sugar and flour.
Spread on crust.
Spread rhubarb on top of sugar/flour mixture.

Topping:
Mix ingredients together.
Spread evenly on top of filling.

Bake at 400F until brown.
Reduce heat to 250F and continue to bake for a total bake time of 45 minutes altogether.
