Chocolate Frosted Bars

Description:
Chocolate Frosted Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup soft butter or margarine
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 cup Quaker Harvest Crunch Original Blend
1 6oz pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup Quaker Harvest Crunch Original Blend
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350F
Instructions:
Cream together butter and sugar.
Blend in egg and vanilla.
Gradually add flour.
Stir in 1 cup Harvest Crunch, crushing largest pieces.
Spread evenly into a lightly greased 3.5L rectangular pan.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over surface.
Let soften.
Spread evenly over surfast to frost.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup Harvest Crunch over top.
Cut into bars to serve.
