1 small onion, chopped
1 tbs butter or margarine
1 tsp chili powder
8 frankfurters
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup water
1 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs vinegar
1/2 tsp salt

Saute onion in butter until golden; stir in chili powder; cook 1 minute longer.

Place frankfurters in a single layer in frying pan, turn to coat with seasoned onion mixture. Mix remaining ingredients together in a 1 cup measure; pour over frankfurters. Cover; simmer for 10 minutes or until frankfurters are puffed and heated through.
