Default Cookie recipe request...chocolate chip and (?)?

The choc chips will be melted and messy.Go for peanut butter, sugar, snickerdoodles, skor chip, oatmeal raisen etc... instead. And instead of pop corn use small hard cadies and gum for packing material. My cousin and brother were always asking for more hard candy and gum, and the help produce more saliva and keep mouths from drying out so much.Use the pre-paid boxes from the post office. Put down a layer of drink mix packets (crystal lite, gatorade etc...), hard candies, gum balls and gum sticks. Add the cookies and then pour in more of the "edible packingmaterial". Run your hands over the cookies and so on and let the packing material really get down into all the nooks and cranies. Add another layer of cookies, and repeat. Don't forget to add little games, cards, or dice even comic books or readers digest etc... (as long as it is nothing dirty) in the box.It doesn't matter howfull you get it and howmuch it weighs when you use the prepaid boxes. Also I would wrap the cookies in sets of 2, not large stacks. You can then put them in tins or just in the box.***I know a lot of soldiers end up craving choc. So here are some ways to do choc. Buy the hershey's or over bars that already basically come in a little baggie. Not eh silver wrapperand then label. Then the corner can be snipped off and squeezed into thier mouths.Brownies with no frosting.Make sure they are good and rich and chewy/gooey.Send pudding packs.

Try http://www.choc-chip-cookie-recipe.com. It has a pretty good collection of recipes that vary in taste and texture, but the Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe on that site is pretty good. It also has an informative page on ingredients and baking tips to try with the recipes so you can arrive at the taste and texture that you want in your chocolate chip cookie. If you are shipping these to Iraq, then there may be an issue of heat and chocolate chips. Try putting chocolate coated candies like M and M's in the cookies instead and they should hold up nicely. Remember the old adage, melt in your mouth and not in your hand? Good luck!
