Recipe Feeder
1 cup uncooked grits
2 to 3 cups milk
2 cups water
1 stick butter
1 pound raw shrimp, shelled

Add grits to simmering milk and water in heavy saucepan. Stir constantly. Cook according to package directions.

Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons butter and salt and pepper (to taste). Heat 4 tablespoons butter and sauté shrimp until it turns pink. Add remaining butter.

Top the grits with shrimp. Serve hot. Add more water if grits become too thick.
