    Assorted Copycat Salad Dressings

    Creamy Caesar Dressing

    Ingredients

    1/4 cup(s) light mayonnaise
    1/4 cup(s) fresh lemon juice
    1 clove(s) garlic, crushed with press
    1 teaspoon(s) anchovy paste, or 1 anchovy fillet
    1/2 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
    1/4 cup(s) extra virgin olive oil

    Directions

    In a medium bowl, with wire whisk, stir together mayonnaise;
    lemon juice; garlic; anchovy paste; Worcestershire sauce;
    and freshly ground black pepper until well blended. Continue
    whisking and add extra virgin olive oil in slow, steady
    stream. Whisk until well blended and emulsified. Cover and
    refrigerate up to 3 days.

    Light Ranch Dressing

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup(s) low-fat buttermilk or reduced-fat sour cream
    1/4 cup(s) light mayonnaise
    1 tablespoon(s) fresh lemon juice
    1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
    1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
    1 tablespoon(s) chives, finely chopped
    1 clove(s) garlic, lightly smashed

    Directions

    In small bowl with a wire whisk, combine low-fat buttermilk
    or reduced-fat sour cream, light mayonnaise, fresh lemon
    juice, salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
    Stir in finely chopped chives and garlic. Cover and
    refrigerate up to 3 days.
    Remove and discard garlic clove before use.

    Directions

    Puree cilantro, olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, salt,
    pepper and garlic in a blender or food processor until
    smooth.

    In blender or food processor, combine parsley leaves,
    mayonnaise, sour cream, tarragon leaves, vinegar, water,
    anchovy paste, and freshly ground black pepper. Puree until
    smooth, scraping down sides of bowl occasionally. Cover and
    refrigerate up to 3 days.

    freshly ground black pepper. Continue whisking while adding

    Copycat Kraft Catalina Salad Dressing

    2/3 cup ketchup
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup white wine vinegar
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup onion, minced
    2 tsp paprika
    2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

    Makes about 2-1/2 cups.

    Process ingredients in a food processor
    or blender until smooth.
    Place in fridge several
    hours to allow flavors to blend.

    Copycat Kraft Thousand Island Dressing

    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    2 Tbs ketchup
    1 Tbs distilled white vinegar
    2 tsp granulated sugar
    2 tsp sweet pickle relish
    1 tsp onion, minced
    1/8 tsp table salt
    dash pepper

    Makes about 3/4 cup.

    Combine ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Mix well. Place in fridge several
    hours to allow flavors to blend.

    Copycat Heinz Shrimp Cocktail Sauce

    1 cup ketchup
    2 Tbs A1 Steak Sauce
    2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbs Horseradish Sauce, cream style
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1/4 tsp red pepper hot sauce
    1/4 tsp table salt

    Mix well. Store in fridge.

    Makes 1 1/3 cups

    Copycat Best Foods Tartar Sauce

    3/4 cup mayonnaise
    2 Tablespoons Dill Relish
    1 Tablespoon dried parsley
    1/2 Tablespoon lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon dried onion flakes
    1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    Mix well. Place in fridge at least 2 hours to
    allow flavors to blend and develop.

    Makes 1 cup
