Pickled Okra

*To each pint jar add:
1 hot pepper pod
1 garlic clove or 1/3 - 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dill seed

**Make a brine by boiling until salt dissolves:
1 quart vinegar
1/2 cup salt
1 quart water

*Wash fresh, tender okra, and pack it into sterilized jars.

**Pour brine over okra and seal. Makes 10 pints.
