Clove and Honey-Preserved Oranges

3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 navel oranges, washed, unpeeled
4 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Servings: 4
Whisk together honey, orange juice and lemon juice in medium saucepan until well blended. Cut oranges in half lengthwise; cut each half into 1/8- to 1/4-inch-thick slices. Stir into honey mixture. Add cloves and cinnamon stick. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until oranges are tender. Remove from heat; cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Yield: 2 1/4 Cups

Notes: Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
