1 1/3 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, soft
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup raspberry jam

TOPPING
1 cup chopped Oregon hazelnuts
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
Dash salt
Servings: 12
Mix flour, sugar, salt and margarine with a pastry blender until all combined. Pack into the bottom of a greased shallow pan 10" × 12". Spread with jam. Bake in a 350º oven for 8 minutes. Spread with topping, then bake for 20 minutes. Cut while warm.
