8 4-oz each American Lamb loin chops (1 in. thick), trimmed
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Raita

1. Arrange lamb chops in glass baking dish. In bowl, combine lemon juice, onion, oil, curry powder, lemon pepper, cumin, cardamom and ginger; mix well. Pour marinade over lamb; cover and refrigerate. Marinate 6 to 24 hours; turn occasionally.

2. Broil 4 inches from heat source, 5 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness. Serve with Raita.
