Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds cabbage, shredded
1/3 cup vinegar
2/3 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup bacon drippings

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients except drippings. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring
frequently. Add drippings. Mix. Serves 6-8
