[Tip:] Drinking Milk And Having To Pee

If you're anything like me, when you drink milk, you end up having to pee for hours afterwards. And I'm not just talking a little bit, either. It's as if I drank mass amounts of alcohol or coffee; that's the kind of urinating I'm talking about.

I found a solution that works for me. I discovered that if I put a bit of alcohol (vodka in my case) in my milk I wouldn't have the problem of having to use the toilet every half hour to hour. Of course, I like to add chocolate syrup to my milk too to make it taste better. I like to do this before bed when I'm craving milk.

Anytime I would have milk before bed, it would drive me crazy because I would wake up every hour or two with a massively full bladder and not be able to get back to sleep without first visiting the bathroom.

My theory as to why the alcohol works to prevent the urination is as follows:

Alcohol makes you pee because it takes the water out of your body therefore in itself making you have to pee, while leaving you dehydrated. But, if you mix it with the milk, which in my case also makes me have to pee, the alcohol takes the liquid out of the milk, therefore balancing itself out, and therefore I no longer have to pee.

Put one or the other (alcohol or milk) by themselves and it's non-stop urine action. Put both together, and voila, they compliment each other canceling out the effects and not only do I not have to pee, but I am also not dehydrated.

I don't like to drink alcohol very often, but adding it to my milk before bed has proven to be an option for me.

If anyone else has had this issue, I'd love to hear about it. It'd be nice to know that I'm not the only one experiencing the frequent need to urinate after drinking milk.

It's like the alcohol is acting as a diuretic for you, I do not believe that milk is a diuretic. But there may be something in it that causes your body to want to flush itself. As for alcohol alcohol is definitely a diuretic, I don't see how that can counteract the milk
