Brilliant rasbperry-red refreshment. Yum!

15oz container of frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp. raspberry jam
1/4 cup tequila (2oz)
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur (such as Grand Marnier), 2oz
1 cup crushed ice
Serves 4
Combine first 3 ingredients in medium bowl.
Strain raspberry mixture through sieve into 1 quart shallow baking dish.
Discard seeds.
Spread raspberry mixture evenly in baking dish.
Cover.
Freeze for about 3 hours until almost firm.
Scrape raspberry mixture, using fork, into blender.
Add tequila, liqueur and crushed ice.
Process until smooth.
Makes about 3 3/4 cups.
Pour into 4 small chilled glasses.

Serving suggestion:
Dampen rims of margarita glasses with lemon wedge, or dip into lemon juice in saucer.
Press rims into colored sugar in separate saucer until coated.
