Tart lemon and licorice are a delightful mix.

2 tbsp. half-and-half cream (or milk)
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. licorice-flavored liqueur (such as Sambuca), 1/2oz
1 egg white (large), see Note
2-4 ice cubes
1 lemon peel spiral, for garnish
Serves 1
Measure first 4 ingredients into cocktail shaker.
Add ice cubes.
Replace lid.
Hold firmly and shake vigorously until cold.
Strain through sieve into small glass.
Makes about 1/2 cup.
Garnish with lemon peel spiral.

Eggs used in beverages should be cold.
Remove egg from refrigerator just before adding.
Beverages containing uncooked egg should be served immediately.
