Prepare Mini Meatballs as directed except - try one of the variations below.


Wrap-around Meatballs:
Shape meat mixture around one of the following: Dill pickle slice, pimiento-stuffed olive slice, Cheddar cheese cube, ripe olive slice, cocktail onion, green pepper cube or marinated mushroom. Serve with chili sauce.


Greek Meatballs:
Omit salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper; add 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg.

Serve with Lemon Sauce: In small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter or margarine in 1/4 cup lemon juice.

Italian Meatballs:
Omit salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper; add 1 tsp. oregano leaves, 1/2 tsp. crushed anise seed and 1/2 tsp. celery salt.

Serve with Tomato Sauce: Cook and stir 2 tbsp. each chopped onion and green pepper in 1 tbsp. butter until onion is tender. Stir in 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper.

Oriental Meatballs:
Omit Worcestershire sauce and pepper; add 1 tbsp. soy sauce and 1/2 tsp. ginger. Serve with soy sauce.
