Cut 8 carrots into 3" strips. Cook in 1" boiling salted water until tender; drain. Place carrots and 4 canned whole artichoke hearts in 9" round foil pan. Spoon Topping (below) over vegetables. Place pan on rack in broiler pan.

Broiling time 7 minutes.
Broil 3 inches from heat at 550F/Broil

Topping:
Mix 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed), 2 tbsp. soft butter, and 1 tsp. each grated lemon peel and lemon juice.
