1 lb Steak, round 1/2 ts Sugar
2 x Green pepper, sliced 1/2 ts Cornstarch
2 x Tomato, quarter 1 Garlic, minced, clove
4 x Onion, chopped 1/4 ts Pepper
4 tb Soy sauce 1/2 ts Salt
1 c Bean sprout 2 tb Water
1/4 c Butter
4 servings
Slice steak thinly in short cross- wise pieces. Heat butter in skillet and
add garlic, salt and pepper. Add beef and brown on both sides. Add soy
sauce and sugar; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add rinsed sprouts,
tomatoes and green peppers; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Dissolve corn
starch in water and stir in. Stir until sauce thickens. Sprinkle with
onions and serve on rice.
