2 c FLOUR (ALL PURPOSE) 1/3 c LARD
2 1/2 ts BAKING POWDER 2 ts LARD
1/2 ts BAKING SODA 3/4 c BUTTERMILK
1 ts SALT 1 x MELTED BUTTER AS NEEDED

Sift Together Flour, Baking Powder, Salt And Baking Soda. Cut In Lard With
Fork Or Pastry Blender. Stir In Buttermilk; Mixing Only Until Dry
Ingredients Are Moistened. Turn Onto Lightly Floured Board, Turning
Several Times To Form A Ball. Pat Or Roll Into A Circle 1/2" To 3/4"
Thick. Cut With Small Floured Glass Or Biscuit Cutter And Place On A
Greased Baking Sheet. Brush Tops With Melted Butter; Bake At 450 Degrees
F. For 12 To 15 Minutes Or Until Golden In Color.
