Chocolate Syrup Cake

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
16 ounces chocolate syrup

Cream butter and sugar and add eggs one at a time. Mix rest of ingredients well. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. The batter will be thin. Bake 30-35 min at 350 or until it tests done. Frost with a fudge icing.
