2 pkg. Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/4 cup water
2 cups shredded coconut
2 cans Betty Crocker ready to serve pudding (2 cups each)
2 cups whipping cream, whipped

Heat oven to 350F. Grease 2 baking pans, 13x9x2". Mix cake mix (dry), shortening, eggs, water and coconut until mixture holds together. Divide mixture in half; pat into pans. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden. (Crust will be soft.) Cool.

Spread pudding over baked crust; chill. Top with whipped cream and cut into squares. Refrigerate any leftover torte.
