1 cup butter/margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Alternate dry ingredients and milk/vanilla.

Pour into 2 greased 9 inch cake tins. 35 minutes at 375.
