1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter
4 cups rice krispies
1 cup peanuts or walnuts

Combine sugars, corn syrup, water, butter and vinegar.
Cover and cook to 240F or to soft ball stage.
Cool slightly, add vanilla and cinnamon.
Pour over mixture of rice krispies and nuts.
Shape into small 2" balls and insert a toothpick into each for a base.
On each toothpick, place a marshmallow for a body, then a cooked prune for a head. (Stuff prunes with small candies if desired.)
Make features on prunes by pressing slivers of blanched almonds for faces.
