4 tablespoon Butter
6 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese
8 ounce Fettucine
½ cup Cream

Melt butter in a small saucepan and off the heat add the cream and grated parmesan. Heat through to melt the cheese. Do not boil. Stir in salt and pepper. Cook the fettucine in plenty of boiling salted water. Drain well. Combine the noodles and the sauce and leave to stand covered for two minutes before serving.
