2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375F. In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients and set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugars, and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread on greased 10x15" baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into 2" squares.
