2 cups oats
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (6oz) semisweet chocolate pieces, melted
1/4 cup chopped nuts

Heat oven to 400F. Grease baking pan 9x9x2". In medium bowl, mix oats and brown sugar. Stir together butter, syrup, salt and vanilla; mix thoroughly into oat mixture. Press dough evenly in bottom of pan.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until top bubbles. Cool. Spread chocolate on top. Sprinkle nuts on chocolate. Chill 1 hour. Cut into bars, about 2x1".
