Shortbread cookies
Preheat oven to 300F
1/2 cup corn starch
1/2 cup icing (confectioners) sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup softened butter
Approx. 24 cookies
Mix dry ingredients together.
With a wooden spoon, blend in butter until smooth dough forms.
Shape into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten with a floured fork and bake for 15-20 minutes. Or until edges are lightly browned.
Or, roll dough and cut into shapes. Decorate as desired.
