1 tablespoon flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
1 pound stew meat (1 to 2)
10 1/2 ounces tomato soup
1 1/4 cups water
1 onion (to taste) chopped
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
4 medium potatoes, pared and cubed
3 medium carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
1/4 cup dry red wine or water
Servings: 5
1. Meat can be browned or just added raw.

2. Mix soup, water, basil, salt, pepper and onion. Add meat, potatoes, and carrots.

3. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or put in crockpot on high for about 6 to 8 hours.
