3/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
3/4 cup nuts
2/3 cup M&Ms

1. Cream short and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients.
2. Spread 1/2 batter in each of two, well-greased, 9" cake pans and top with half the M&Ms.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Pan cool 10 minutes and transfer to racks to cool remaining.
