1/2 cup butter shortening
2 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup milk
Cut shortening into dry ingredients and brown sugar. Add egg and milk, mix well.
Spread in bottom of 9x13" pan and up on sides.
Spread 6 cups cut up (bite-size) raw rhubarb over this mixture.
Sprinkle with 1 small box of strawberry Jello powder.
Spread topping over this.
Mix- 6 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, and 1/2 cup flour.
Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes.
Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
