Banana Split

1 banana
1 scoop chocolate ice cream
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
1 scoop strawberry ice cream
chocolate sauce
crushed pineapple, drained
frozen strawberries, thawed
frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 marachino cherry
chopped nuts or peanuts (optional)

Peel banana and slice lengthwise in half; place in shallow dish.
Top banana with ice cream scoops.
Spoon chocolate sauce over chocolate ice cream, pineapple over vanilla ice cream, and strawberries over strawberry ice cream.
Garnish with a dollop of whipped topping and the marachino cherry.
If you wish, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
