Recipe Feeder
1lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup oil
1 large can (28 ounces) canned tomatoes, drained
1 clove garlic
1 to 2 tsp chili powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
12 good-quality hot dogs
1 cup chopped onion for garnish


1. In a large sauté pan or skillet, brown the meat in the oil. Stir in the tomatoes, garlic, and chili powder. Cover and simmer until rich and thickened, about 20 minutes, stirring often. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add additional chili powder if desired.

2. Grill the hot dogs over hot coals. Place in rolls or buns and spoon over the chili sauce. Top with chopped onions.
