You should never ignore a lump in your testicles. I don't know for sure and I do not want to frighten you but there is a chance it could be testicular cancer. If you ignore it for long it will grow and you risk the cancer metastasizing (spreading) to other parts of your body like your lymph nodes. Do yourself a favor and get it checked out immediately. Better safe than sorry.

Well, it entirely depends what the lump is.Testicular Cancer is always on the teste. So it depends what the lumps they took out were.Really you need to ask your doctor what they did.+

I'm a testicular cancer survivor and do volunteer work for ManExam. First of all, the most important thing right now is getting to the doctor. There are several types of testicular cancer and one is very aggressive and fast-moving. Even days can make difference. The earlier it's caught the better the prognosis. If you have early stages of TC, you will most likely only need the surgery to remove the testicle. But men only need one testicle. If one is removed, the other one takes over to do the work of two. Most men have no problem having kids after the surgery.Should he be in later stages and require chemo, there is a chance the chemo, not the cancer could make you infertile. Many men will choose to freeze sperm should that be the outcome. All that being said, it's really important to get a doctor's diagnosis, so you can look at your options.
