Apples
Preparation: Peel if desired, core and slice into 1/8" slices.
Approximate Drying Time at 140ºF: 4-8 hrs.
Test for Doneness: Pliable to crisp. Dried apples store best when they are slightly crisp.

Notes: Looking for an alternative to the traditional pine scent this holiday season? Try the crisp, clean smell of citrus potpourri. In addition to providing olfactory pleasures, dried potpourri replaces poinsettias as a splendid holiday decoration or centerpiece. With the growing popularity of aromatherapy, potpourri makes a delightful present that is both trendy and timeless. And because its contents are uniquely designed by its creator, the "scent-illating" possibilities are endless.
