Panko bread crumbs add a bit of crunch to these delicate cookies filled with chocolate chips, toffee and macadamia nuts.

1 cup butter flavored shortening
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1 12 oz bag chocolate chips
1 cup English toffee bits
1 1/2 cups diced macadamia nuts

In a mixing bowl, cream shortening with sugars and eggs. Beat in vanilla, soda, salt and flour, stirring well. Stir in bread crumbs, chocolate chips, toffee bits and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
