Whats your best cleaning tips?

Denatured Alcohol will clean up anything sticky. Good for scuff marks.Formula 409 will clean up anything greasy and grimey.WD-40 will remove bubble gum from anything including a child's hair and carpet. It also removes thick grease from things. Use soap like Dawn to remove the WD-40.Water will clean up anything that is water soluble. I clean X-ray equipment in hospitals. These items work very well. The alcohol is available at home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowes. It's about $6 a quart. It's very good for lighting the charcoal in your Bar-B-Q pit.

-To clean glass, let it soak in ammonia. It makes it shiny and streak free-When cleaning windows and glass, using windex that has ammonia in it with newspaper.-To clean blinds that are all dusty, get a bucket of hot water with half a cup of laundry soap, a dish rag and start scrubbing, then dry.-To get rid of mold off walls, spray tilex for mold and mildew (make sure you wear a masks or don't breathe it in too long) it will make your throat hurt! and let it sit for a while then come back and wipe it off.. It works really well. -Use bleach or mr.clean w/febreze cleaner for mopping floors with water.. Really helps deodorize.-Use Dawn Dish Soap when washing your car, it really gets all the tar and dirt off the tires and rest of the car.-When cleaning your carpet, use a nice smelling laundry soap as your cleaner. I usually use gain with baking soda or tide w/febreze. I use half a cap because its 2x concentrated and dilute it with water and add it to the carpet machine (rug doctor)-To get smell out of carpets, pour a box of baking soda throughout the room..let it sit for 20 minutes and vacuum up. -To have a fresh smell throughout your whole house, get your favorite smelling fabric softener (a capful) or more (depending on the size of the spray bottle)..add water and spray throughout your house on fabrics and furniture. I'm always told the house smells fresh when I do that. -A little bit of bleach or mop floor cleaner cleans the bathtub great if you scrub it good with a toilet bowl brush. Never use toilet bowl cleaner to clean your bathtub because it clogs it up eventually.-Use Pledge lemon or orange scent to dust wood with a rag.. Leaves a nice smell and makes it all sparkly and shiny.-A lot of things I wash, I wash with laundry soap.. The cats litter box, drawers and shelves in the fridge that I pull out, blinds, and the carpet..-I've heard you can put dryer sheets in drawers to freshen clothes or in the air vent to let out a nice smell. thats all the tips I can think of! Hope it helps!

To clean windows and showers doors really well and get rid of water marks very easily try using just ordinary white distilled vinegar ( to avoid the smell just put the vinegar into an empty spray bottle and add a few drops of any nice smelling essential oil that deals with the smell I use a mixture of eucalyptus and other oils so it doesn't smell of vinegar just a fresh smell)It's an excellent cleaner and very very cheap. it's also a natural antibacterial so you can use it to wipe your kitchen worktops. Another tip with vinegar is to use it as a fabric conditioner in the washing machine when your washing something really stained like kids bed sheets it cleans softens and as an added bonus helps to clean all the lime scale from the hard water in side your washing machine. Use it to clean the toilet too instead of using nasty chemicals and to quickly wipe the inside of a fridge or microwave So it's an excellent chemical free eco friendly all rounder.

To remove cooked on food in the bottom of a stock pot or sauce pan-instead of scraping and scrubbing-pour approx 8 oz.of Coca Cola into the pot and bring to a rolling boil for 10-12 minutes, then rinse out and wipe with a paper towel.Works every time, though you should boil longer for those extra nasty pans...
