No, I tried everything when I use to live in the city.Go and buy Decon and it will kill them within a couple of days. It was the best $2.50 I spent in that city.

I don't know any household items. If you have a bad infestation, I suggest you hire a professional exterminator. If it is only a problem of one or twe you can deal with it on your own. I suggest you get a the "sticky" type of mouse traps. Yes them may still be alive with you find them, but they are in a "tent" like cover and you can pick it up by the end and throw them in the dumpters. The spring traps often splatter blood and with poison they like to crawl under the floor board or behind the walls to die and stink up the house/apartment.

Well u could take a broom and whack it until it dies! But that's pretty cruel. Also u could like take a bag and gloves and catch the rat and throw it out side!!

Buy a rat killer pellet and place it at corners.Use fly paper (it catches mice, just place it where the mice usually goes)For rats there are trap cages

Cat. Mouse Trap, but, rinse it after you catch one, it makes a difference, they smell the kill so to say. De-con, most of those kill when they drink water so make sure there no water close to the house. Last, if you find a hole put Steel Wool in it, they know the hole and will try to eat through the Steel Wool since it not belong there. Not sure where they die though with the Steel Wool.

Don't use poison. Do you really want decomposing rodents in your walls? Use glue traps. Bait them with peanut butter. Throw the trap away mouse and all.

USe a sticky mouse trap or the good old mouse trap that snaps their neck in half...use peanut butter....works better than cheese. IF by chance you know where they are coming in, dryer vent or small holes, place steel wool in those areas, mice do not like that...We havent had one this year
