1/2 oz butter
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup milk
2 onions, cut up
1 apple, diced
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. curry powder
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. marmalade
2 oz. raisins
12 blanched almonds (pieces)
2 eggs

Soak bread crumbs in milk. Squeeze and reserve milk.
Saute onions and apple.
Add meat. Cook and drain fat.
Add salt and pepper, curry, almonds, raisins, crumbs, and marmalade.
Stir well and cook gently - 3 minutes.
Mix in one lemon and 1 egg.
Put in a well greased oven dish and pour milk and egg mixture over.
Cook at 325F for 1 hour. Serve with lemon slices and rice.
