4 cups blueberries 1 L
3 cups granulated sugar 750 mL
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice 45 mL
1 tbsp Cointreau (orange liqueur) 15 mL

Pick over berries, wash and dry.

Place in heavy saucepan with sugar over low heat until sugar dissolves, strirring constantly. Boil for 20 minutes.

Add lemon juice and Cointreau and boil 3 minutes longer.

Skim top and pour immediately into sterilized jars.
