2 sticks or 1 packet Betty Crocker pie crust mix
1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 pkg. (6 oz) butterscotch pieces
1 can (20 oz) pie-sliced apples

Prepare pastry for 9" One-crust pie as directed on package. Mix remaining pie crust stick or mix and the sugar until finely crumbled. Stir in butterscotch pieces. Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumbly mixture.

Mix remaining crumbly mixture and the apples; pour into pastry-lined pie pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mixture. Cover edge of pastry with 2" strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil last 15 minutes of baking. Bake at 425F for 40 to 45 minutes.
