Meat pie

1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 1/2 lbs. ground pork
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 finely chopped onion
2 fairly large potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 1/2 cups of potato water

Brown meats; drain off fat.
Add rest of ingredients.
Bake in regular pie shell at 400F for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325F and continue cooking for 30 minutes longer.
