How many weeks after your miscarriage did you concieve?& was your following pregnancy ok?

I recently on Jul 29th had a natural miscarriage in the ER. (I did not have to have a D&C). My doctor did not give me any instructions or lists of anything NOT TO DO. My husband and I had sex the following night & the next week. Is it possible that I could have gotten pregnant the day after my miscarriage.Also when did you have your next period following your miscarriageThanks in advance for all of your info!

I conceived two weeks after my miscarriage. No period.To get pregnant that soon would be unusual, but not impossible.tx mom

Answering from my wife's expereince here....Caitlin miscarried when she was 8 and a hlaf weeks pregnant. We weren't given any do's and don't's from the doctor either and I think it was a couple of days later when we first had sex. Caitlin's periods didn't start again for a couple of months after the miscarriage so it was 6 months later when we conceived.The pregnancy went smoothly, no problems at all. Caitlin is pregnant again now, due in 9 weeks. Again, this pregnancy has been fine.

Sorry for your loss its a horrible thing to go through..I miscarried on my daughters 2nd birthday in July last year. We started ttc about 8 weeks later and it took me 6 months to conceive. I am now 32 weeks with my little man and all is well. You will have your time again try not to rush it and allow your body and mind to heal x

I had my son in Sept on 08January 2010 I had a m/c 10 weeks (blighted ovum)2 months later pregnant again. at 5 weeks m/c 3 months later BFP and again at 5 weeks m/cI took a few month off because the doctor said that it was to much on my body because of how soon it all happened. This month I am TTC again. I know that what I went through is not normal and I don't think the same thing will happen to you. I would however take some time for your body to heal. I thought that I didn't need extra time and it turns out I did. I hope you concieve and have a happy and healthy pregnancy soon!

I've been trying for 13 months since my miscarriage and still have not beeen able to get pregnant again. But, yes, it is possible to get pregnant immediately following a miscarriage
