Fresh Mushroom Salad

1 head romaine, washed and chilled
1 head lettuce, washed and chilled
1/2 lb. mushrooms, trimmed and sliced
Garden Dressing (below)

Garden Dressing:
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1/4 cup snipped parsley
1 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. red pepper
6-8 servings; About 1 cup dressing
Line salad bowl with romaine leaves.
Into bowl, tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces (about 8 cups).
Add mushrooms; pour Garden Dressing over greens and toss.

Garden Dressing:
Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar; refrigerate.
Shake again just before serving.
