1 10oz jar plum preserves
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. seed & finely chopped dried red chili pepper or 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 1/4 cups
In a small saucepan, combine plum preserves, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, red pepper, garlic and ginger.
Bring mixture to boiling, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, cool slightly.
Refrigerate in a covered container overnight to blend seasonings.
