I'm planning on taking my girlfriend on vacation this summer for our one year anniversary, but I don't know where I want to go yet. I have a budget, i'm only making around $1200 a month, and only have about $300 saved as of right now. I want to take her somewhere I can preferably drive, I am in Pennsylvania. Anyone have any suggestions, or had some good vacations themselves? Thanks alot.

Hi Diplomat...,I have a list of amusement parks below...I have not been to any of them...but, I have had friends and relatives who have...these parks has been highly recommended to me and my husband to check out...so, when I seen you were from Pennsylvania....these parks are not extremely far from your state....cedar point is in the upper part of Ohio (heard this place has the best rollar coasters if you are into that).....bush gardens in southern part of Virginia....six flags is probably the farthest being in Georgia...and pigeon forge is in Tennessee.....(I heard that Dollywood is a bit pricey but very nice)...anyway, maybe you can check out these sites and get somekind of ideas.......http://www.cedarpoint.com/http://www.buschgardens.com/BGW2/http://www.sixflags.com/overGeorgia/index.aspxhttp://www.mypigeonforge.com/

Depending on where in PA you live, Dorney Park (Allentown, PA), Hershey Park (Hershey, PA), Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson Township, NJ), Kennywood (Pittsburgh, PA), and Knoebels (near the Poconos, PA) seem like the best places to go. If you are way out west in PA, Cedar Point (the roller coaster capital of the world) and Kings Island (also VERY good) are both in OH.
