Animal Kingdom Villas and Boardwalk

If you want to spend a lot of money, Grand Floridan. If you want a total DVC stay, Old Key West, The first DVC Resort, If you want some thing new and want to spend a lot of money, Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The best "Vacation Club" resort has got to be the Boardwalk.It's location is great. Walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. The Boardwalk Entertainment Area give great night time place to get out and have a walk. Good resturants all around.The other Vacation Club resorts are:Animal Kingdom LodgeBeach Club VillasHilton HeadOld Key WestSaratoga SpringsVero BeachWilderness Lodge

If you mean "Disney Vacation Club, then if you are a first time visitor, it's the villas at the Wilderness Lodge. Very kid friendly, most convenient of DVCs to the Magic Kingdom, which dominates a first time visitor's itinerary. If you are not a first timer, then Boardwalk and Beach Club villas are most convenient, AK villas most interesting.If you mean is "what's the best resort to stay in," then for a first-timer it's the Polynesian.
