1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup celery, diced
1 apple, diced, peeled
1 cup onion, diced
3 cups bread cubes
1 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon ground marjoram
1 cup whole cranberry sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Zest and juice of an orange
Servings: 12
Heat butter in a sauté pan, and sauté celery, apple, and onion until soft. Add bread cubes, sage and ground marjoram. Remove from heat. In medium saucepan, stir together over low heat whole cranberry sauce, brown sugar, salt and the zest and juice of one orange. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Mix with the bread mixture; blending well.


Yield: 6 cups
